Multicultural night at My elementary school

Multicultural night at My elementary school

Multicultural Night at my elementary school was amazing! The whole cafeteria was filled with different tables, each representing a country with decorations, food, and fun activities. It felt like stepping into a whole new world with every table I visited with my BFFs.

What can you expect at multicultural night?

From traditional dances to interactive cultural displays, Multicultural Night is a feast for the senses! Students, teachers, and parents come together to share their heritage and teach others about it. You can expect to see colorful costumes, hear different languages being spoken, and taste all kinds of delicious dishes from around the world.

Cultural - Taiwan

This year, I was super excited because I got to help at the Taiwan table. My family teamed up with Auntie Chi and Uncle Ron to prepare Taiwanese market foods for the school's Multicultural Night!  Also, My best friends and I worked together to create the poster and plan the games.

What's on the Menu?

As soon as you walked into the cafeteria, you were hit with the amazing smells coming from our Taiwan Craft table. The air was filled with the yummy scent of fried Taiwanese tempura and crispy popcorn chicken. And the best part? The brown sugar milk tea! It was sweet, refreshing, and so delicious that people kept coming back for more (even for thirds!).

Games and Activities Galore

But the night wasn’t just about food— because there wasn’t much space, we could only have one Taiwanese game this time—the homemade pinball machine. But it was super fun, and kids loved playing it!

To support this event Stickies4u also provide with all the cute stickers that represent Taiwan culture to all the visitors that come to our table. Kids loved them so much that by the end of the night, all the stickers were gone!

After my shift, I walked around with my friends to check out the other tables. I tried spicy snacks from Mexico, sweet treats from Switzerland, yummy spam musubi from Hawaii, and tasty tteokbokki from South Korea. Everything was so delicious!

There was also a stage where people performed dances from different cultures. The music was awesome, and the colorful outfits made the performances even more fun to watch.

By the end of the night, we were all super tired but really happy. It was so cool to see so many different cultures all in one place, and loved being part of it.  We can’t wait for next year’s Multicultural Night!
